Assistance Dogs and other Pets
We welcome assistance dogs and are happy to exercise, clear up after and feed them upon request.
Friendly dogs belonging to guests are welcome by arrangement provided they are kept under control around the children, chickens and ducks and they get on well with other dogs. We ask that you do not bring dogs that are aggressive to other animals or people as it is not fair to our resident dogs, children or other guests.
We have one Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Basil (the most friendly dog you could meet!).
No dogs are permitted in the kitchen whilst we are preparing food, however they do have access to the rest of the house, so Church Farm would not be suitable for anyone who has a severe dog allergy.
We own our own free range chickens and ducks.
We do not own or allow cats in the house, due to Basil's severe allergy to them!
Other Information
Most mobile phone providers are accessible within and outside the house.
A cordless telephone handset on the house phone can be made available for emergencies.
People with nut allergies should be made aware that we DO use nuts in our kitchen.
We are a non smoking guest house, throughout.
Cyclists are welcome to bring their cycles into the main hallway to store overnight. we request that all cleaning is carried out outside.
